All the important PlayStation news you missed in a TLDR format every morning at 7am EST.
Yesterday was the final Wednesday of June. The final Wednesday of any day is generally a joyous day as it is the day that the next month’s PlayStation Plus games are announced. Well, to say fans were not thrilled might be an understatement.
The last two months gave us What Remains of Edith Finch?, Overcooked, Sonic Mania and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection. July brings us PES 2019 and Horizon Chase Turbo. Nothing against these games but the caliber has taken a steep nosedive. Sony took a chance when they changed the formula up to be only two PS4 games a month. At least with 6, there was a better chance of a high quality game amongst the duds. This might also be the first time a yearly entry of a sports title was included with PS Plus.
On the bright side, both games include Platinum Trophies. PES is about a 3/10 and will take around 20-25 hours while Horizon Chase Turbo is a 5/10 and will take around 35 hours.
Better luck in August?
